1. About Us
These Terms & Conditions govern the use of the Evina® website and the purchase of products from Evina®.
Evina® is a company registered in England and Wales.
Throughout these Terms, “Evina”, “we”, “our” and “us” refer to Evina®.
By accessing our website or purchasing from us, you agree to these Terms & Conditions.
2. Our Products
Evina specialises in authentic pre-owned and, where stated, new luxury designer handbags and accessories.
Due to the nature of luxury resale, every item is unique and may show signs of previous ownership. Each item is assigned a condition grade in accordance with our Condition Guide, which forms part of the item description alongside product photographs. Colours may vary depending on screen settings.
We aim to describe every item accurately and transparently.
3. Authenticity
Every item offered for sale by Evina is authenticated by our in-house experts before being listed. Where applicable, an independent third-party authentication certificate may also be provided.
Evina guarantees that every item sold is authentic. We do not sell counterfeit items under any circumstances.
In the unlikely event that an item is proven to be inauthentic by a recognised professional authentication service, we will accept a return and issue a full refund upon verification. Please refer to Section 10 for full details.
4. Product Availability
All products are subject to availability. Because many items are one-of-a-kind, an item may become unavailable before an enquiry is completed.
Evina reserves the right to withdraw any item from sale at any time.
5. Pricing
All prices are displayed in Pounds Sterling (£ GBP). Prices may change without notice. The price confirmed on your invoice is the final purchase price.
Import duties, customs charges and local taxes for international deliveries are the responsibility of the customer.
6. Enquiries & Orders
Evina operates an enquiry-based purchasing model. Submitting an enquiry does not reserve or purchase an item.
Orders are confirmed only when availability has been confirmed, payment has been received in full, and Evina has issued an order confirmation. Items are reserved upon receipt of cleared payment.
7. Payment
Payment must be made using an approved payment method as specified on your invoice. Orders will not be dispatched until cleared funds have been received.
Evina reserves the right to refuse any order where fraud prevention or compliance checks cannot be satisfactorily completed.
8. Shipping
Orders are shipped to the delivery address confirmed during the purchasing process. Shipping costs are calculated and confirmed during the enquiry process prior to payment. All orders are securely packaged, fully tracked, and insured. Estimated delivery times are provided as guidance only and are not guaranteed. Tracking details are provided once your order has been dispatched.
Delivery times will vary depending on destination and will be confirmed prior to dispatch.
Risk passes to the customer upon successful delivery and customers are responsible for ensuring that the delivery address provided is accurate.
9. International Orders
International customers are responsible for all customs duties, import VAT, local taxes, and customs clearance charges. These charges are determined by the destination country and are not included in the purchase price unless explicitly stated.
10. Returns
Due to the nature of our business and the rigorous standards applied by our in-house experts to authenticate each piece, all sales are final. We do not accept returns, exchanges, or cancellations once payment has been made, except in the rare case where an item is proven to be inauthentic.
To qualify for a return under this exception, the following conditions must be met: the claim must be supported by written evidence from a recognised, independent professional authentication service; the item must be returned in the same condition in which it was received, with all accompanying materials; and the claim must be submitted within 14 days of delivery.
Once the item has been reviewed and the claim verified, a full refund will be issued. We encourage all clients to review item details carefully and contact us with any questions prior to purchase.
11. Condition
Many items sold by Evina are pre-owned. Natural signs of wear consistent with previous ownership should be expected on pre-owned pieces. Each item is carefully assessed following authentication and assigned a condition grade under our grading system.
Customers are encouraged to review all photographs, condition grades, and descriptions carefully before purchasing.
12. Intellectual Property
All website content, including photographs, logos, graphics, text, and branding, remains the property of Evina unless otherwise stated. No content may be reproduced without prior written permission.
13. Limitation of Liability
Nothing within these Terms excludes liability where it cannot legally be excluded under the laws of England and Wales. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Evina shall not be liable for indirect or consequential losses, loss of profits, delays caused by third-party couriers, or customs delays. Our total liability shall not exceed the purchase price paid for the relevant item.
Evina is not responsible for delays caused by courier services, customs processing, or circumstances beyond our control.
14. Privacy
Your personal information is processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy. By using our website, you consent to the collection and processing of personal data as described in that policy.
15. Fraud Prevention
Evina reserves the right to verify customer identity, carry out fraud prevention checks, and request additional information before dispatch. Orders suspected of fraud may be cancelled without notice.
16. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
